(KNZA)--Although United States Senator Jerry Moran is at work in the nation's capital, he's hoping to hear, first hand, from his constituents this evening.
The Republican Senator from Kansas will hold a town hall style meeting, over the telephone, as part of what he's calling his new Fight For Our Future initiative.
Calling the ever growing national debt “a threat to our economy and the future of our children,” Moran says it's important for Kansans to have an opportunity to share their thoughts about the proposals being considered in Congress.
All of Moran's constituents are invited to do just that, starting at 6:45 this evening, by calling 1-877-229-8493. When prompted, the password is 18349. We've posted that information, with this story, at mscnews.net.
Moran, in a post on his Facebook page, says the town hall telephone call is expected to last around one hour.
