(KNZA)--The boil order for customers of Brown County Rural Water District # 2 remains in effect.
It does not include the City of Hiawatha.
The boil order was put in place Friday; and, due to the Martin Luther King Junior Holiday yesterday, testing, to make certain water is free of contaminants, was delayed.
The water district says the testing is expected to be complete sometime today.
Until the all clear is given, water to be consumed should be boiled for one minute.
We're in contact with water district officials, and will let you know as soon as the boil order is lifted.
