(KNZA)--Behind bars in Jackson County.
That's the latest regarding the pair found inside the same car where murder suspects Lloyd Wabaunsee and Desiree Shopteese were found hiding in the trunk.
36-year-old Denison resident Rachel Hudson and 29-year-old Topeka resident Aaron Lofton were taken into custody when officials, including the U.S. Marshals, arrested the occupants of the car, Thursday night, after it was found parked in Urbandale, Iowa.
According to court records, Hudson and Lofton on Friday entered guilty pleas related to possession of drug paraphernalia in Polk County, Iowa District Court.
Waiving extradition, Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse says the two were returned to Kansas and booked into the Jackson County Jail on Saturday.
They're held on charges related to obstructing apprehension or prosecution.
Shopteese on Friday refused extradition, and is held in Polk County on a Jackson County warrant for second degree murder in connection with the shooting death of Mayetta resident Kevin Stanley on the night of January 10th.
Wabaunsee is held in Polk County on the same charge, with bond set at 500-thousand-dollars.
However, as of late Friday, he had not yet made a court appearance.
Sheriff Morse says if Wabaunsee decides not to waive extradition, a Governor's warrant, for his return to Kansas, will be pursued.
