( KNZA )-A sign replacement project is to begin Tuesday ( January 22nd ) along some highways in area northeast Kansas counties.
The Kansas Department of Transportation says the project will include U.S. 36 in Doniphan, Brown, Nemaha, and Marshall Counties. It will also include K-87 and K-178 in Nemaha County, and K-120 in Doniphan County.
The work will take place during daylight hours, Monday through Friday, with some occasional Saturday work.
There may be some occasional lane and shoulder closures during the project.
Fulsom Brothers, Inc. of Cedar Vale, Kansas is the primary contractor on the nearly $580,000 project. The project is to be completed in late May, weather permitting.
