Maridel Wittmer has filed to challenge incumbent Hugh Mitchell as Commissioner of Finance.
In other recent filings in Nemaha County, Alice Lackey has filed for the Ward 2 Seneca City Council seat. The position is currently held by Bob Claas.
And Roger Hermesch has filed to retain position 3 on the Nemaha Central USD 115 board of education, which he was appointed to last year.
