( KNZA )-The Hiawatha City Commission will review the results of a water and sewer rate study analysis during a special meeting Monday evening.
The commission last month hired Carl Brown Consulting LLC of Jefferson City, Missouri to conduct the study.
The study was conducted to determine the level of funding needed to adequately cover current operation of the utilities, build and maintain reserves, fund capital improvements and related debt service.
The meeting will begin at 5:35 Monday evening at the Hiawatha City Hall.
