( KNZA )-- Funeral services have been set for a 25-year-old Oskaloosa man killed in a single-vehicle accident Sunday in western Leavenworth County.
The Leavenworth County Sheriff’s Department says Lee Allen King died when the Nissan pickup truck he was a passenger in overturned as the vehicle made a left turn from Ragtown Road onto 251st Street around 4:30 that the morning about six miles northwest of Tonganoxie.
King was partially ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, 18-year-old Topeka resident William J. Kelly, was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
A celebration of life memorial services for King will be held next Friday morning, January 18th at 11 o’clock at the Oskaloosa United Methodist Church.
