( KMZA )--Details have been released on a two-vehicle accident Sunday in Nemaha County, Kansas that sent two people to the hospital.
According to the Nemaha County Sheriff’s Department, 53-year-old Christopher Brooks of Overland Park was driving east on K-9 Highway when he attempted to make a left turn into a field entrance one mile east of T4 Road.
40-year-old Stacey L. Haug of Centralia, who was also traveling east, attempted to pass Brooks when he began his left hand turn and the vehicles collided.
Haug and a 5-year-old passenger in her vehicle were transported to the Holton Hospital by Jackson County EMS.
The accident was reported around 11 o’clock Sunday morning.
