(KAIR) -- Atchison County Farm Service Agency wants to remind producers they can sign up for the 2011 SURE Program.
SURE provides crop disaster assistance payments to eligible producers on farms that have incurred crop production or crop quality losses.
This sign up is only for the 2011 crop year.
SURE provides assistance in an amount equal to 60 percent of the difference between the SURE farm guarantee and total farm revenue.
If producers suffered a loss in the 2011 crop year or if you have questions, you are asked to contact the FSA office at 913-833-5460.
