(KNZA)--A jury trial is now set for a White Cloud man charged with aggravated indecent liberties with a male child under the age of 14.
The jury trial for 49-year-old David Cisneros is scheduled for mid-March.
The Kansas Chief reports that was decided when Cisneros appeared for a hearing in Doniphan County District Court.
During that hearing, a request for a bond reduction was denied, with his defense attorney requesting that it be reduced to a personal recognizance bond of one-thousand-dollars.
The judge denied the request, and Cisneros remains jailed in Doniphan County on a 100-thousand-dollar bond.
Cisneros was arrested in January on a state warrant and later ordered to undergo a competency evaluation.
