(KLZA) The Auburn City Council approved an interlocal agreement Monday night with Nemaha County, Nebraska regarding the library building and a lease purchase agreement between the City and the Library Foundation regarding the building. Mayor Scott Kudrna said the actions were required as part of the financing of the recent library addition. ( play audio :51 seconds )
In other business, following a public hearing the Council gave approval to the Auburn Board of Public Works budget calling for a three percent increase. ( play audio :07 seconds )
A request for $20,000 in Keno funds for the Scotty’s Garden project on the square in Auburn was approved but at a lesser amount. ( play audio :24 seconds )
The Auburn Council also approved a policy concerning the assigning of addresses to properties within the city limits of Auburn. ( play audio :32 seconds )
