(KLZA) The Auburn City Council approved an interlocal agreement Monday night with Nemaha County, Nebraska regarding the library building and a lease purchase agreement between the City and the Library Foundation regarding the building. In other business, following a public hearing the Council gave approval to the Auburn Board of Public Works budget calling for a three percent increase. ( play audio :07 seconds )
A request for $20,000 in Keno funds for the Scotty’s Garden project on the square in Auburn was approved but at a lesser amount. ( play audio :24 seconds )
The Auburn Council also approved a policy concerning the assigning of addresses to properties within the city limits of Auburn. ( play audio :32 seconds )
