( KNZA )--A Hiawatha woman has pleaded no contest to drug-related charges.
Malinda Pattangall entered the plea Monday in Brown County District Court to charges of possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and disorderly conduct.
In exchange for the plea, two additional charges—possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal damage to property—were dismissed.
Sentencing was set for December 17th.
The arraignment for a co-defendant in the case, William Thomas of Hiawatha, was continued to December 17th.
The pair were arrested in June by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department following the executive of a search warrant at a residence located at 507 Delaware Street. Deputies obtained the search warrant after responding to a domestic call at the residence.
