(KTNC) - Job seekers can learn about on-line resources available through the Nebraska Department of Labor, during a workshop Wednesday at the Falls City Library and Arts Center.
The workshop begins at one o’clock Wednesday afternoon. Sue Baumann at the Department of Labor Career Center in Nebraska City says they’ve reserved space in the Library’s computer room for the afternoon session. (play audio :50 “apply for.”)
Baumann says she will also show how to conduct job searches on the website, as well as explain other features of the site. (play audio :32 “career fields.”)
There is no cost for the workshop, though Baumann suggests calling in advance to reserve a space. She says the workshop will last for approximately two hours Wednesday afternoon. Call the Nebraska City Career Center, at 402-873-3384, for more information about the workshop.
Baumann says they are planning to hold two more workshops in Falls City – one in December and another in January.
