(KTNC) - Students, faculty, and staff in the Johnson-Brock School District are mourning the loss of a senior who died while playing basketball after school this week.
Superintendent Jeff Koehler reads a prepared statement. (play audio )
Koehler says Jones and several other students had just finished one game and were starting another when he collapsed.
Koehler says it’s not clear what happened, as Jones had not been complaining about feeling ill beforehand and didn’t appear to have any injuries.
Jones had a twin sister, a younger sister and three adopted siblings who all attend Johnson-Brock schools.
Services for Terron Jones are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Johnson-Brock School.
