( KMZA )-The Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office is investigating a burglary at a pharmacy in Westmoreland.
Sheriff Greg Riat says the sheriff’s office received a 911 call shortly after 11:50 Monday night. The caller reported glass being broke at the Hoffman Pharmacy.
Riat says when deputies arrived they saw broken glass around the front door.
He says the deputies were unable to locate a suspect inside the pharmacy or immediate area. The suspect is believed to have fled the scene just after making entry.
A witness reported seeing a young male subject wearing a dark hooded sweat shirt and dark jeans in the area.
The loss of was estimated at about $500.
