(KTNC) - What’s fast becoming an annual tradition will take place Sunday in Falls City. Southeast Nebraska Community Action will sponsor the 6th annual Jingle Bell Ride, as riders on horseback will fan out across Falls City to collect new toys that will be distributed to children in Richardson County served by SENCA.
Melissa Hardenberger, with the SENCA outreach office in Falls City, explains the event. (play audio :27 “for the kids.”)
Registration for riders begins at noon Sunday. Hardenberger says there will be other activities that day for youngsters, and others to enjoy. (play audio :24 “tied together.”)
Toys collected Sunday will be given away as part of SENCA’s Holiday Gift Baskets.
If you’d like to have the riders stop at your house to pick up a gift, contact Melissa Hardenberger at 402-245-5284 or Sherry Huddleston at 402-245-3191.
