Editorial: Republican Team Debate Committee Responds To Teacher's Claims
Im Rick Wright, Republican Team Debate Committee chairman.
There are a few facts you might need to be aware of relating to
Mr. McAlisters claims:
1. Three Republican candidates, not just Pyle are represented by
the committee.
2. Not a single republican on the ballot attended this so called
unbiased forum, even those not represented by us declined.
3. The organization did agree to all the criteria and signed it,
then reneged.
4. Our biggest objection by far was not #9 on criteria, it was
the lack of impartiality of the proposed moderator, Mr.
McAlister. His comments in the media, his reputation, his
private comments to individuals, and his facebook posts all
stand as ongoing evidence that we made the right decision.
Mr. McAlister used a presidential quote in an attempt to
emphasize his points. We have a presidential quote for him.
