( KMZA )-Plans are underway for the construction of a new building at the Nemaha County Fairgrounds in Seneca before next year’s county fair.
County Extension Agent David Key says the south building on the fairgrounds, which is also utilized by the county road and bridge department for equipment storage, is in bad shape and needs to be replaced.

Pictures and specifications for a new announcer’s booth the Fair Board would like to install in the fair building were also presented to the commission last week.
The commission voted to appropriate five-thousand dollars out of the Parks and Recreation Fund to help pay for the installation of the announcer’s booth.
