(KNZA)--A Denison restaurant incurs heavy damage, following a Sunday evening fire.
Kansas First News reports that it happened around 6:30 Sunday evening at Racks and Reels Bar and Grill located in the Jackson County community.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department reports that smoke was discovered by two passersby, out for an evening walk.
Calling for help, the two also rescued a dog from inside an attached apartment building.
It’s believed the fire began in or near the kitchen, but the investigation into the exact cause is continuing.
