( KNZA )-- One of two teens involved in an Amber Alert in July has been adjudicated in Brown County on charges of obstructing official duty and possession of marijuana.
During an adjudication hearing Tuesday in Brown County Juvenile Court, a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed against 16-year-old Jenna Hord of Atchison .
The case will be transferred to Atchison County for a disposition hearing.
An adjudication hearing for 17-year-old Logan Burris of Leavenworth was postponed to October 30th. Burris is facing four misdemeanor charges—obstructing official duty, driving while license cancelled, suspended or revoked, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Authorities issued an Amber Alert July 6th after they say Burris allegedly force Hord into a car at a Leavenworth convenience store the night before.
They were later stopped while driving through Hiawatha after a tip from an alert citizen.
