(KNZA)--The Jackson County community of Holton will be alive with the sights of art, and the sound of music, this Friday during what's billed as the “Final Friday Art Walk.”
Katie Morris is the Secretary of Jackson County Arts, and says the event is modeled off of similar art showings held in other communities(Play Audio)
Morris says artists will be in attendance to provide insight into their work, while live music, and interactive sidewalk chalk demonstrations, happen at the same time(Play Audio)
While the majority of the art walk will be centered in Holton's downtown square, Morris says a couple of slightly off-sight locations will also be taking part(Play Audio)
The art walk will take place Friday evening from 5 until 7:00.
Morris says it's hoped that the event will bring a strong turnout, because the goal is to make such art walks a regular event in Holton.
