(KLZA) Thursday is the first day of classes for the new school year for the Auburn Public Schools.
On the first day school will dismiss at 11:15 a-m at Calvert Elementary School and at 11:30 a-m at the middle and senior high school.
The Pre-school program offered by the district starts Monday, August 20th.
A district wide open house is scheduled from 5:30 – 8 p-m this evening.
A back to school night at open house is scheduled at the Craig R-III school in Craig Missouri on Thursday from 5:30 – 7 p-m.
At Mound Cit yR-II schools the Elementary and Middle School Back-to-School night will be Thursday from 5:30 – 6:30 p-m.
A Middle School Walk Through event is scheduled from 6 p-m Thursday at the Johnson County Central Middle School in Cook. An open house for 4th and 5th grade students will begin at the same time.
An open house will be held Monday, August 20th at the Johnson County Central Elementary Site in Tecumseh from 4 – 5:30 p-m. Students should bring their school supplies to the open house.
