(KAIR) -- A native of Atchison County has joined the Washington D.C. staff for Kansas Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins.
Ginger Niemann of rural Nortonville will be a legislative aide.
Niemann will be covering military, agriculture, veterans, postal, and welfare issues.

She received her bachelor’s degree in political science from Pittsburg State University in 2007, where she served two terms as student body president.
After graduation Niemann pursued a master’s degree in international relations at Brunel University in Uxbridge, United Kingdom.
Prior to joining Jenkins’s staff, Niemann worked for then-Senator Sam Brownback and the law firm of K&L Gates.
