(KNZA)--Jackson County area fire crews battled a several acre blaze late Wednesday afternoon.
It happened to the north, and mainly east side, of Banner Creek Reservoir, with the blaze reported around 4:40 in the afternoon.
Numerous haybales burned in the blaze, and telephone poles were ignited as well.
Crews were able to bring the fire under control before 6 pm.
An exact cause remains under investigation.
