Work Planned on Highway 75 in Holton

( KNZA )--Motorists traveling on U.S. highway 75 through Holton Saturday and Monday are being advised to expect major delays.
The Kansas Department of Transportation says U.S. 75 from 5th to 9th Street in Holton will have varying lane reductions for asphalt mill and inlay work on Saturday ( August 11th ) and Monday ( August 13 ) between 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. each day.
Traffic will travel through the work zone via signage, cones and a flagger operation.
Drivers should expect delays of up to 15 minutes maximum and are encouraged to use alternate routes, if possible.
There will be a 12-foot width restriction through the project work zone during working hours only.
The project  work is scheduled to be completed by 7:30 Monday evening,   weather permitting.
