08/02/2012

( KMZA )--The new K-110 bridge in Marshall County is completed well ahead of schedule and the roadway was reopened to traffic Wednesday.
The Kansas Department of Transportation says due to the diligent work of the contractor, Klaver Construction of Kingman, the bridge was completed well ahead of the early September completion date.
The previous 24-foot reinforced bridge structure was replaced with a 32- foot wide reinforced concrete box.
Work on the nearly $445,000 project began in late April.
