Horton Water Conservation Lifted
07/31/2012

Following a voluntary water conservation effort that began July 20th, the City of Horton’s water supply returns to strong levels, and that means residents can return to normal usage.
The voluntary water conservation effort was lifted during a special meeting of the Horton City Commission Tuesday evening.
While the conservation rule was in effect, groundwater, from Mission Lake, was treated, and used to fill the city’s water supply.
That effort will continue for a period, and then diminish in the near future.
