A 37-year-old Corning man is in custody, following his arrest on Wednesday.
According to the Nemaha County, KS Sheriff's Department, Mark Howerton was taken into custody on a charge of aggravated assault; however, no additional details pertaining to what he allegedly did, leading to the charge, are yet made public.
Howerton does remain in custody in the Nemaha County Jail.
