77 Thousand Raised In Nemaha Co Relay

(KMZA)--With the 55-thousand dollar goal well exceeded, the 2012 Nemaha County Relay For Life is counted as a great success(Play Audio)

That's Myra Koch, Chairperson for the event, which was held Friday night into early Saturday morning, on the Nemaha Valley High School track in Seneca.

Despite this years relay having just wrapped up, planning for next year is already underway(Play Audio) 
 
The Relay For Life, featuring teams of walkers and other supporters, is arranged through the American Cancer Society in order to honor cancer survivors, remember those lost to the disease, and to raise money to find a cure.
