A St. Joseph, Missouri woman has been charged in connection with two recent residential burglaries in Highland.
32-year-old Amber Rae Dorman has been charged in Doniphan County District Court with two counts of burglary and one count each of felony theft, conspiracy to commit felony theft and possession of stolen property.
The charges stem from two burglaries in the 5-hundred block of North Avenue.
A large amount of items belonging to Shawn Root were reportedly taken during one of the burglaries.
Dorman is also alleged to have been in possession of a stolen 1994 Ford Explorer belonging to Michael James.
A preliminary hearing in the case is set for July 17th.
