A celebration in Doniphan County Friday and Saturday, as both nights will feature the sights and sounds of the rodeo.
Working with the Grand River Rodeo Company to make the event happen, Doniphan County Fair Board President Norman Meng says the goal is to make the event an annual fundraiser(Play Audio)
The rodeo will allow, what will be for many, a first time look at the Doniphan County 4-H arena, now standing in Troy(Play Audio)
The rodeo will feature a variety of events, including bareback riding, calf roping, team roping, and bull riding, among many others.
Saturday evening's performance will also include youth mutton bustin' at 7:00 for those aged 4 to 12.
Lifelong Doniphan County 4-H member, and horse enthusiast, Madison Smith, will serve as Rodeo Queen.
Spectators are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
Tickets are 10-dollars for those 12 and over; 5 to 11 year olds cost 5-dollars, while children 4 and under get in free.
Both the Friday and Saturday night Doniphan County Rodeo performances begin at 7:30.
