Kansas State University and their current, Athletic Director have agreed to a two-year contract extension to keep Currie as the A.D. through 2018.
Then extension adds two-years to his contract, giving Currie a $50,000 signing bonus and the possible incentive of $300,000 if he his still the A.D. after the duration of the contract.
Currie, who took over as A.D. in 2009, is slated to make $450,000 this 2012-13 academic year and his salary will increase by $25,000 each remaining year of his contract, moving forward.
