The Mound City girls track team won the Class I Sectional 4 track meet Saturday in St. Joseph scoring 86 points. Polo and St. Joe Christian tied for 2nd with 69, Rock Port was 10th with 26 points, Nodaway-Holt was 12th with 22 points, Craig-Fairfax placed 15th with 16 points, South Holt scored 7.5 for 19th place and Tarkio was 22nd in the 25 team field with 4.5 points.
Worth County was the boys team champion with 96 points, St. Joe Christian second with 81, Mound City third with 69, Rock Port was 6th with 56, South Holt was 11th with 22 points, Nodaway-Holt and Tarkio tied for 14th with 14 points.
Qualifying for the State Track Meet at Lincoln University in Jefferson City on Friday and Saturday by schools were:
