Longtime Doniphan County Sheriff Jerry Dubach will not seek re-election to another 4-year term.
Dubach informed county commissioners Monday of his decision. Dubach has served as sheriff for 26 years. So far no one has filed for the postion.
All county offices, except that of 1st district commissioner, are up for election this fall.
Candidates have until noon, June 1st to file.
