45 year old Debra Kirkendall of Dawson appeared in Richardson County Court Monday on a class III felony charge of theft by unlawful taking of more than $1,500.
    Kirkendall was cited by the Falls City Police Department March 23rd  on suspicion of embezzlement.  Kirkendall was manager of the KWIK Shop convenience store in Falls City.  An investigation revealed that approximately $2,700 in cash was missing.
    According to court documents, between February 25th of this year and March 23rd of this year Kirkendall allegedly took $2,690 from the business.
    Bond has been set at $7,500 and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 14th,   in Richardson County Court.
