The execution of a search warrant leads to the arrest of two Mayetta residents on drug charges
Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse says the search warrant was served Friday night at 218 Clark Street in Mayetta following a five week investigation into the alleged cultivation and distribution of controlled substances.
Arrested at the scene were 31-year-old Russell Tyler Jim and 25-year-old Krystal Lee Goodspeed.
Jim and Goodspeed were booked into the Jackson County Jail on charges of possession of controlled substances, possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful cultivation of marijuana, distribution of marijuana, conspiracy to cultivate, aggravated endangerment of a child and failure to have a drug tax stamp
Jim also faces a charge of violating controlled substance laws via a communication facility.
The Mayetta Police Department assisted with the incident. Bond is pending on both subjects.
