The Hiawatha City Commission will hold a special meeting Monday morning.
The purpose of the meeting is for a closed-door session on attorney-client privilege.
The meeting is to begin at 7:30 a.m. at the Hiawatha City Hall.
It’s not known if the meeting has to do with longtime Hiawatha Police Sergeant Laura Tollefson, who the city confirmed this week has been placed on administrative leave from the police department, pending investigation.
It is not known if the leave is paid or unpaid. City Administrator Lynne Ladner ,responding to an inquire from this news department, on Thursday would only say the leave is in accordance with the city’s personnel policy.
