Jeff West baseball completed the sweep over the Holton Wildcats as they won the second game of the double-header 10-4, after taking game one in 5 innings 11-0. In the second matchup it was errors and non-timely hitting that plagued the Wildcats as Jeff West tallied runs off of six Holton errors in the game.
For the Tigers it was Josh Becker who enjoyed the best game with a 4-5 performance in game two, notching three singles and a double with two runs scored and one RBI. Brad Kahler was the winning pitcher for the Tigers, throwing six innings of work giving up one run on six hits, striking out five. For the Wildcats Jacob Tanking had a multi-hit game going 2-4 with two singles.
In game one of the series it was Brent Roberts on the mound doing the work for the Tigers, throwing a one-hit shutout, recording seven strikeouts on his way to earning the win for the Tigers, as the offense poured out 11 runs.
