It was the Holton Wildcats who dominated the Washington County golf Invitational as they took home first place as a team with by snatching up the top four best individual performances at the golf tournament. The Wildcats finished the day with a team score of 285 (team scores are total of best four golfers) notching them that first place finish overall in the tournament. Strong score by the Wildcats came at the hands of the top four individual performers of the tournament on the day: Kellin Brandt shot a 66 (1st place), Tavin Dugan shot a 70 (2nd place), Zach Fate shot a 73 (3rd place) and Kenton Tegethoff shot a 76 (4th place). Wildcats also saw another one of their golfers finish in the top 10 in Kennedy White, who took home seventh place, by shooting an 80.
Second place went to the Raiders of Nemaha Valley with a team score of 332 and three individual performers who finished in the top 10 on the day. Trent Olberding, finished the day with the best individual performance for the Raiders, shooting a 77, which earned him a tie for fifth place. Olberding, was joined in the top 10 finisher's on the day with Caleb Meyer and Michael Ohlsen who both shot an 82, tying for eighth place.
The three through 10 spots as a team on the day shook out like this: Republic County 337 score (3rd place), Valley Heights 361 score (4th place), Onaga 380 score (5th place), Linn 399 score (6th place), Washington County 401 score (7th place), Concordia 406 score (8th place), Hanover 485 score (9th place) and Marysville 524 score (10th place).
