Tri County won both the girls and boys portion of the Johnson County Central Invitational Tuesday at Tecumseh.
On the girls side Tri County scored 105 points, Lourdes Central Catholic was second with 92, Freeman was third with 73; Sacred Heart was 6th with 34 points, HTRS was next with 27 1/3, Johnson County Central was 8th with 20 and Johnson-Brock was next with 15 1/3.
Event winners included Hannah Volker of HTRS in the discus, Kylie Trobie of Freeman in the shot put and Liz Railsback of HTRS in the pole vault.
On the boys side Tri County scored 137.5 points followed by Johnson-Brock with 59, Lourdes Central was third with 58; Freeman was 5th with 50, Sacred Heart was 6th with 47, Johnson County Central scored 43.5, HTRS 20 and Lewiston 7 points.
Johnson-Brock senior Kale Wolken dominated the meet on the boys side winning four events. Wolken set a meet record with a time of 10.8 seconds in the 100 meters; he also won the 300 meter hurdles the high jump and won the long jump by more than 2 feet going 22-21/2.
