A rural Fairview trailer home is listed as a total loss following a fire this ( Monday ) morning.
The Fairview Fire Department responded to the fire at the Lori Martinson residence about four miles east of Fairview along U.S. 36 highway around 11 o’clock this ( Monday ) morning.
Fire Chief Ron Rettele says no one was home when the fire broke out and no injuries were reported.
Rettele says the fire remains under investigation by the State Fire Marshal’s office, but is believed to be electrical in nature.
The Hiawatha and Powhattan Fire Departments assisted in fighting the blaze.
