A Whiting man is free on bond, following his weekend arrest by the Jackson County Sheriff's department on a number of charges.
According to a press release from Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse, 29-year-old
Corey Blake Mellenbruch was taken into custody late Saturday night following the report of a disturbance, just south of Whiting.
He was arrested on charges of aggravated burglary, assault, battery, criminal damage to property, endangerment of a child, driving under the influence and transporting an open container.
Mellenbruch was additionally held in connection to a Holton Police case where he is facing charges of disorderly conduct and reckless driving.
Initially booked into the Jackson County Jail, with bond set at 20-thousand-dollars, Mellenbruch posted the bond and was released from custody.
