Reception Set For New Library Director in Hiawatha
The Trustees of the Morrill Public Library in Hiawatha will host a welcome reception for new Library Director Jenny Marr on Tuesday, April 17
The reception will take place from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. to the library.
Trustee President Beckham Smith says they invite library patrons and members of the community to drop in to meet Jenny and welcome her to her new community.
Marr comes to Hiawatha from the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library in Midland, Michigan, where she has worked for the past nine years.
She has a Bachelors Degree in Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology and a Masters Degree in Library and Information Science with a Graduate Certificate in Archival Administration from Wayne State University.
