A young Everest man was injured in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday night in Andrew County, Missouri about four miles north of St. Joseph.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, 21-year-old Jacob Yoder was driving a 1999 Ford Escort south on U.S. 169 when he struck the rear of 2008 Jeep Wrangler that had pulled onto the highway from a private driveway shortly before 9 p.m.
Yoder was transported to Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph with moderate injuries.
The driver of the Jeep, 48-year-old Pawel Felling of St. Joseph, wasn’t hurt.
