A three-vehicle accident in Wyandotte County Friday sent a Holton woman to the hospital.
50-year-old Kathleen Otto was transported to Providence Hospital in Kansas City, Kansas following the accident on K-7 Highway shortly after 2:30 Friday afternoon.
She was a passenger in a pickup truck driven by 37-year-old James Otto of Holton.
The Kansas Highway Patrol Otto was traveling north and was unable to stop at a traffic light due to wet roads and brake failure. His pickup struck the rear of a car that was stopped at the traffic light, with the impact pushing the car into another vehicle stopped at the traffic light.
None of the other occupants were injured.
