Class 2A Girls State Championship in Manhattan

After heart-breaking losses in the semifinals and championship games the past two years at 3A State Basketball in Hutchinson, the Jeff County North Girls posted a very impressive trio of games in Manhattan to win the 2A Girls Title in 2012. JCN, who won 3A girls state in 1985 and 1987, combined to outscore their opponents 193-112 (64-37 average) including a 51-40 championship score that ended Olpe's 77 game win streak. Senior Jordan Kramer scored 13 to finish with 70 points in the three game affair while younger sister Jacee Kramer had 20 in the final game to end the tourney with 68 points. The Lady Chargers end the season with a 25-1 record and their first 2A State Basketball Title.
