On a day that saw many weather changes, the Peru State College (PSC) Bobcat softball team swept a double header from the visiting University of St. Mary (USM) Spires of Leavenworth, Kan.
The 'Cats took game one 5-1 and came from behind to win game two 4-2. With the two wins, PSC improved to 4-0 while USM dropped their first two games of the season.
The 4-0 start is the best start to a season since 2005 when Peru State started 6-0.
