A challenger has thrown his hat into the ring for a position on the Humboldt City Council.
John D. Cooper has filed papers at the Humboldt City Clerk’s Office to run for the Ward Two Council Seat. Cooper is the third candidate to file to run for the Humboldt City Council. Incumbents Mike Riley and Crystal Dunekacke had filed previously.
Next Thursday, March 1st, is the deadline for non-incumbents to file to run in the May 15th Nebraska primary election.
