The Highland Community College men's Scotties win at home in impressive fashion over Kansas State University--Salina, notching their thriteenth win of the season, 100-54. The Scotties used a 60 point first half to take control of the contest, leading by 25 points at the half, then proceded to double up KSU-Salina in the second half, outscoring them 40-19.
Three players finished with double figures on the night, sophomore, Roderick Camphor lead the squad on with 22 points in the contest. While sophomore, De'Andre Upchurch finished with double digits once again with 20 points, himself and freshman, Dave Johnson, Jr. added 12 points in the game, as well. Those three were the only Scotties to score double figures in the game, but all eleven Scotties saw action in the game scored at least two points on the evening in the win.
The Scotties are now 13-11 on the season with that victory. The will be in action again this week on the road this Wednesday taking on Labette Community College at 7:30pm. The Lady Scotties will also be in action Wednesday taking on Labette Community College at 5:30pm.
