Atchison Man has Felony Forgery Charge Dismissed

 A 30 year old Atchison man was sentenced to a year of supervised probation on amended charges Monday in Atchison County Court.

 Aaron Habegger pled guilty to the class a misdemeanor charge of theft.

 A charge of felony forgery was dismissed by the county attorney.

 Habegger was arrested on January 24th for allegedly taking loritab by deception from his mother-in-law.

 In addition to the one year suspended sentence, he was ordered to pay four dollars in restitution for the drug.

 It was Habegger’s first conviction.
